The 74 000-acre Mara North Conservancy is one of the best of the concessions for its abundant wildlife, quintessential savanna landscapes and commitment to community conservation, working to rehabilitated overgrazed land and natural habitats and managing grazing areas. Game viewing is excellent, and particular highlights are big cat sightings and the dramatic herds of the Great Migration. Out of all the conservancies, it has the greatest number of camps 10 in total but theres still a lot of space and privacy, as that means theres nearly 700 acres per tent.



Elephant Pepper Camp

Located in the Mara North Conservancy, the heart of the Masai Mara ecosystem, Elephant Pepper Camp is the perfect base from which to explore the wonders of the Mara. The vast, fertile plains of the Maasai Mara boasts a plethora of wildlife; with over 450 bird species and both resident and transient populations of lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, to name a few, the plains are dense with game.

Kicheche Mara Camp

Kicheche is a classic bush camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees, half an hour drive outside the Masai Mara Reserve. Unfenced and secluded, the camp impinges so little on the natural inhabitants of the Masai Mara reserve that animals wander through the grounds at any time. To ensure an intimate feel, a maximum of 22 guests are accommodated in the camp's eleven spacious ensuite tents
