These conditions govern the contractual relationship between you and Ongeri Expeditions Luxury Safaris, and apply to all safari packages and services arranged on your behalf.
The full terms are below and form part of your contract with us. If you read one part before paying a deposit, read this one.
Please read the following terms carefully before confirming your reservation. They are short, they are plainly written, and they are the ones we hold ourselves to as much as we ask you to.
All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), or British Pounds (GBP) and are payable via bank wire transfer, credit card, or cash (where applicable).
Prices are based on prevailing costs at the time of publication. Ongeri Expeditions reserves the right to adjust quoted prices prior to confirmation should market conditions, tax structures, or supplier costs change. Any such adjustments will be communicated at the time of your booking confirmation.
To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your safari departure date.
For bookings made less than 60 days before departure, the full safari amount is payable immediately.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Ongeri Expeditions via email or formal letter. The following cancellation charges will apply, based on the date the cancellation is received:

We would rather keep your journey alive than close the door on it. If your plans change, write to us before you cancel outright. In most cases we can issue a credit note for the full amount you have paid.
This credit is valid for twelve months from the day we issue it, and you may apply it toward a future Ongeri Expeditions safari.
The credit note covers the accommodations you originally booked and paid for. Should lodge or camp rates rise in the following season, you simply settle the difference.
Please note that some suppliers, such as airlines or lodges, may apply their own charges when a booking is cancelled, including no-show or non-refundable fees. Where this happens, the credit note reflects only the amount we are able to recover, and any shortfall is settled by the guest.
The itinerary shared with you is a well-considered plan; however, slight changes may occur due to operational or logistical reasons. Should any adjustment be necessary, we will substitute the activity with a comparable alternative of equal value and experience.

Ongeri Expeditions bears no responsibility for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings incurred during the tour or while participating in any optional, third-party activities outside the scope of your confirmed safari.
Weather conditions can be unpredictable and are beyond our control. While we strive to deliver every aspect of your itinerary, Ongeri Expeditions shall not be held liable for any changes, delays, or missed activities due to adverse weather.
For your safety and comfort, smoking is strictly prohibited in all Ongeri Expeditions vehicles. Additionally, many of the lodges, camps, and public areas visited during your safari also enforce non-smoking regulations. We kindly request full compliance with all local laws and property policies during your stay.
