You are met at the aircraft door at Jomo Kenyatta International by our VIP Meet and Assist team and moved through immigration and customs without a queue. A private transfer takes you to Wilson Airport for the scenic flight over the Rift Valley into the Maasai Mara. Your guide meets the aircraft, and the first game drive begins on the way to camp. The afternoon is yours to settle in, and a late drive closes with a signature bush sundowner as the savannah turns gold.
Morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with expert trackers, in search of the Big Five, the big cats, and everything else the Mara offers in September. Somewhere in the middle of it, a freshly prepared bush meal is laid out for you in the heart of the wild. September is one of the two strongest months of the year in the Maasai Mara. The Great Migration herds are usually still in the reserve, river crossings continue, the grass is short and the weather stays dry and mild. It is peak season, which is exactly what makes a pay 3, stay 5 offer unusual.

Angama means suspended in mid air in Swahili, and the name is exact. The camp sits a thousand feet above the valley floor, on the escarpment made famous by Out of Africa. Two separate camps of fifteen suites each keep the atmosphere intimate, and the descent into the Mara Triangle takes minutes.
Every suite is a wall of glass facing the plains, with a canvas roof, a wide private deck, a writing desk, and a beaded reading chair set exactly where the view is best. Interiors are warm, textured and unmistakably Kenyan.
