Mahali Mzuri perches on the side of a lush valley with views over rolling plains. It has 12 tented suites and hosts 24 guests at most.

Mara Plains Camp: the best private honeymoon tent camp in Olare Motorogi
Mara Plains Camp has 6 guest tents and a family suite, on the bends of the Ntiakatek River in lush forest. The tents stand on decks made from old railway sleepers.
Bathrooms have copper basins and a stand alone brass bath. The lounge and dining tent is open sided, in a colonial style with antique trunks and brass fittings.
The camp has family and honeymoon tents with their own lounge and dining areas and private entrances. Private candlelit dinners, such as in the library or wine room, are a highlight.
It was built with solar power and no cement. Balloon flights are an optional extra.

Porini Lion Camp stands on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatek River, bordering the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It has 10 tents and was a founder member.
